Confidence Interval Calculator

Estimate the range within which a population parameter is likely to fall.

What is a Confidence Interval?

In statistics, a confidence interval is a range of values, derived from a statistical sample, that is likely to contain the value of an unknown population parameter. Instead of just giving a single number for an estimate, it provides a range, which is more realistic. For example, a 95% confidence interval means that if you were to repeat the experiment over and over, 95% of the time the true value would lie within that interval.
